Key Colors, 2017

Key Colors is the result of a visual exploration on the exterior of the Florida Keys' wooden houses ( Conch houses) in which colors applied on walls, doors and windows generate surfaces of various geometric shapes and textures. This piece is a fragment collection of those surfaces organized as a polyptic. In it I make reference to the keys’ habitat and to fundamental elements of the local culture taking into account the importance granted to the color in the organization of the house like a vital space.
